  • wearing the right type of sunglasses actually helps a lot to prevent the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays to affect your vision, since exposure to those will boost the chances of you getting cataracts and of course, increase the macular degeneration that your eyes will have the more you aged. The recommendation is to choose a pair of sunglasses that blocks 99% to 100% of UVA and UVB rays that also helps you reduce the glare when you drive.

 

  • Reduce the amount of time you spent looking screens:

 

  • this is the most common one but is a real one, staring too much at the computer, phone or TV can cause different types of problems for your sight and mind, so the simple recommendation for this one is to take breaks from them from time to time.
